ESGI Tools Pvt Ltd is actively engaged with the manufacture, supply and export of a comprehensive range of Gear Cutting and Shaping Tools. Comprising a wide variety of Gear Hobs, Bevel Cutter Blades, Gear Shaper Cutters, Gear Shaving Cutters, Master Gears and Swaging Cutters, this range is developed to give superior performance for a long time, with no need for maintenance. Using imported High Speed Steel as the base material, our Gear Cutting and Shaping Tools are manufactured using the latest technologies, after being designed by specialized in-house software. Our raw material stock consists of various grades of High speed steel like conventional high speed steel M2, M35 and powder metallurgical steel in ASP2030 and ASP2052 grades. We provide re-sharpening of the different profiles of the Shaving Cutters from 1.5 to 10 modules alongside standard/modified involute having tip relief, Lead & Profile crowning.

We have facility for customized production as per the drawings given by the clients and our Gear Cutting and Shaping Tools are provided with a choice of protective coatings like PVD coating to enhance their durability. Commonization of Gear Hobs to cut different gears having similar pressure angles and modules in particular tolerance level, is also done to reduce inventory costs. All the Tools are given Heat Treatment to optimize their performance for cutting efficiently. The parameters of the Tools that are tested include their hardness, grain-size, structure at micro level and the distribution of carbide along with their resistance to adverse conditions.
